Please note that the Milk Bath is a service offered by Transhumance and can be booked on our website; massages must be booked and paid for directly with the professional.

These services are only available to guests staying at La Transhumance. We reserve the right to cancel a reservation if this condition is not met.

Abhyanga massages with hot oil

Abhyanga massages with hot oil last between 1 hour and 1 hour 15 minutes . They originate from the Indian Ayurvedic tradition and aim to restore balance to the body and mind.

Promoting deep relaxation, detoxification, and improved blood circulation, the massage is preceded by a period of getting to know each other and gaining a general understanding of the individual's needs, ensuring a treatment tailored to their specific requirements.

I travel to the Transhumance by appointment.

Our Signature Pyrenean Experience: Donkey milk bath and relaxation in hay!

At Transhumance, we strive to offer you the Béarn and the Aspe Valley that we love, and this experience should appeal to you if you have the soul of Heidi...or Cleopatra!!
Our relaxation area offers you a unique immersion in the Pyrenees and Aspe region, in complete autonomy:

On the agenda: an hour of relaxation with a bath prepared with 600ml of organic donkey milk from the SAUMA Donkey Farm in Lescun and our spring water, a delicious herbal tea from "Verdurette & cie" in Lurbe, and a cozy nap in fragrant hay cut in Bedous! Enveloped in natural, pure, and comforting scents, you won't even notice the time passing!

You can end the session by testing the SAUMA product range: solid shampoo, face cream, body lotion, also available for sale in our shop.

Relaxation, a change of scenery and well-being guaranteed!

Please note: to ensure a wonderfully white, warm, and fragrant bath, we prepare the bath with 40°C water, cow's milk, and orange essential oil (please inform us of any allergies) . You then add fresh water and donkey milk. Hay is present in the relaxation cabin; please do not touch the candles!

Milk bath offered on Mondays, Fridays, Sundays from 3:30pm to 4:45pm, Mondays, Fridays from 10:30am to 11:45am.
